Prof. Muttayya Koganuramath was born on 1st June, 1953 in Ichhangi village in Savanur Taluk, Haveri District, Karnataka State. He obtained his Master of Library and Information Science in 1984 from Karnatak University, Dharwad with First Rank and Gold Medal. This citation is being presented to Prof. Muttayya Koganuramath in recognition to his outstanding contribution to the profession and yeoman services rendered for the growth and development of BOSLA on the occasion of BOSLA Annual Lecture on 'Inter-Personal Effectiveness: Foundation for Successful Career’ at Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai on 5th October, 2013.
